Hyundai has launched its Grand i10 CNG variant in the Indian market. The price of the Hyundai Grand i10 CNG variant is Rs 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Hyundai Grand i10 CNG variant has been lowered with only the mid-variant ‘magma’. Earlier Hyundai made CNG-powered models exclusively available to Taxi Fleet Operators. However, it has now been made available for private clients as well.
Grand I10 CNG variants are expensive up to 67,000 rupees compared to standard petrol-powered magma variants, because the addition of an additional CNG-kit has been added to Grand i10. Apart from adding CNG technology, there has been no change in the Grand i10 hatchback.
Hyundai Grand i10 is the second model after Santro, in which the option of CNG is given. Grand-i10 CNG has a 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine generates the power of 66bhp and pickup torque of 98Nm. With this 5-speed manual gearbox is available.
The same engine has been given in petrol-powered variants, although it generates torque of 82bhp and 110Nm of torque. Gasoline engine with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox option will be available.
In addition to petrol and CNG variants, Hyundai Grand i10 also comes with diesel engines. The diesel unit is a 1.2-liter CRDi unit that generates 74bhp power and the pickup torque of 190Nm. 5-speed manual transmission with this engine is available.
It has dual-tone dashboard, MID on instrument cluster, steering-mounted audio control and power wdongj. In safety, immobilizer, central locking, day / night IRVM, driver-passenger airbag, ABS and impact sensing lock are locked with EBD.
